How Do I Join the VitalPaws WhatsApp Group for Dog Parents?
Short answer: there are two doors. Anyone can follow the Daily Pup WhatsApp channel — free, no purchase needed, one tap on chat.whatsapp.com/JE2l6grE2bi41sW8hsUFA1. The groups where you can actually talk — a dog-parent discussion group, a vet-support group and a breed group (the Shih Tzu group exists today; more are opening) — have no public link: the invites come by WhatsApp after you order, in the welcome message that follows the Pet Care Expert call you get within 24 hours of ordering. If you've ordered and nothing has arrived, WhatsApp +91 80507 70671 with your order number.
Two doors: a channel anyone can follow, and groups buyers are invited to
You're here for one of two reasons. Either you ordered, were told there's a group, and nothing has landed on your phone yet. Or you haven't bought anything and you'd simply like to be around other people whose dog scratches at 2 a.m., licks its paws pink, and has already been through the medicated shampoo, the food change and the third vet visit. Either way, the setup is simpler than it sounds.
Door 1: the channel (open to everyone)
The community is called Daily Pup rather than VitalPaws, on purpose — it's about your dog, not about a product — and its public front door is a WhatsApp Channel, not a group. Follow it here: Daily Pup on WhatsApp. A channel works like a broadcast: only the team posts — short tips on food, habits and gut health — nobody can reply into it, and your number isn't shown to other followers. You don't need to have bought anything. If you're still deciding whether VitalPaws is right for your dog, this is the door to take first.
Door 2: the groups (after you order)
The groups have no public link. An order opens them — the invites come by WhatsApp after the Pet Care Expert call — and they are where conversation actually happens:
- A breed group. The Shih Tzu group exists today. More breed groups are opening, and we'd rather say that plainly than promise a group that doesn't exist yet.
- A vet-support group for health questions — the invite is in your welcome message.
- A dog-parent discussion group for everyday chat. It's not a sales group; offers and updates are kept out of it so the chat stays chat.
When the invite arrives, and what to do if it hasn't
"When will I be added to the WhatsApp group and get my free vet consultation?" reaches us in almost exactly those words, so here is the real sequence after an order on vitalpaws.in. It's also what your first weeks with VitalPaws look like.
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Within 24 hours of ordering | A Pet Care Expert calls you: your dog's breed, weight and dose, what you've already tried, your address — and books your vet slot. |
| After that call | Your welcome message on WhatsApp, with the group invites. While the pack ships you also get a short note on why gut health matters and a scoop reminder before delivery. |
| Your vet slot | A 1:1 teleconsult with Dr. Anvesh Chakravarthy (B.V.Sc & A.H., PetPulse Clinic), in the 3–5 PM window — the same day if your order is confirmed before 3 PM, otherwise the next day. The team calls you and brings the doctor onto the same call. |
| About 5 days | The pack arrives. The first scoop in breakfast is Day 1. |
| Days 3, 7, 14 and 21 | Check-ins — Day 3 and 14 are reminders, Day 7 and 21 are calls from the team. |
| Day 30 | The review call, and the refund checkpoint. |
So the honest answer to "when" is: the invites follow the call, and the call comes within 24 hours. If the call has happened and a day later there's still no welcome message, WhatsApp +91 80507 70671 with your order number and the phone number you ordered with. A nudge from you is welcome, not a nuisance.
Bought on amazon.in instead? That order doesn't come with the call. The channel is still your open door, and the support number is open to you for anything about your dog.
Who is actually in these groups
Mostly people in your situation, and mostly small-dog homes. In our post-order call notes, of the 258 households that told us their breed, 66% are Shih Tzu homes — so it's no surprise the Shih Tzu group was the first breed group to open, and the one we can point you to today rather than promise. Of the 220 customers who raised a concern on those calls, 67% mentioned itching or scratching, 56% paw or body licking, 23% skin redness, rash or flakes, and 18% tummy trouble. Those are our team's own notes, read by hand, from the customers who picked up the phone and had something to raise — not a survey. But if you're joining because the shampoo bought a few calm days and then the scratching came back, you'll be in the majority, not the odd one out.
What the groups are for, and what they aren't
- Everyday questions. Food, snacks, habits, what's normal for the breed. Our team's standing rule is that you should be able to bring us any dog question, whether or not it's about something we sell — and if the honest answer is "see a vet" or "here's a better resource", that's the answer you get.
- Not a clinic. Nobody on the team gives medical advice in a group chat. Health questions go to the doctor — that's what the 1:1 teleconsult and the vet-support group are for.
- Not a sales floor. Nobody is pitched in the discussion group. The groups exist so that your dog's 30 days go better, not to sell you the next pack.
Three honest things before you join
The channel is one-way. If what you want is conversation, the groups are the place, and the invites come with an order. What you're buying is the pack: one 120g pouch of Vital Paws Pre + Probiotics Powder, 15 scoops, dosed by weight (the dose guide has the chart), with the call, the vet teleconsult and the check-ins included. The testimonials page has what people say after their 30 days.
Only the Shih Tzu group exists today. If your dog is a Beagle or an Indie, you get the welcome-message invites now, and an invite to your breed's group if and when it opens. Don't buy for the breed group alone.
Daily Pup is also the name of an app that's coming. We're not promising a date or features, and nothing about the WhatsApp channel or the groups depends on it.
FAQ
Is the VitalPaws WhatsApp group free to join?
The Daily Pup WhatsApp channel is free and open to anyone — tap the invite link and follow, no purchase needed. The discussion, vet-support and breed groups have no public link; the invites come by WhatsApp after your order.
When will I be added to the WhatsApp group after I order?
After the Pet Care Expert call, which happens within 24 hours of ordering on vitalpaws.in — the invites are in the welcome message that follows it. If a day has passed since the call and nothing has arrived, WhatsApp +91 80507 70671 with your order number.
Is there a breed group for my dog?
The Shih Tzu group exists today; more breed groups are opening. Whatever the breed, every order still comes with the Pet Care Expert call, the vet teleconsult, the welcome-message invites and check-ins on Day 3, 7, 14 and 21.
Do I get the free vet consultation in the group?
No — it's a 1:1 vet teleconsult, booked on the Pet Care Expert call and held in the 3–5 PM window. The groups are for everyday questions; health questions go to the vet.
Is Daily Pup an app?
Today Daily Pup is the WhatsApp channel and the dog-parent groups. An app with the same name is on the way, but we're not promising features or a date, and joining on WhatsApp doesn't depend on it.
Every order comes with a Pet Care Expert call, a 1:1 vet teleconsult and your WhatsApp invites. One scoop a day. 30-day guarantee.
